We are shaped up in the Gods image, they say. Each of the big churches is assigning different name to the whole concept, but disregard the name difference, they all agree that if you give human being a good look, you can have a general idea how God looks like. If we assume that there is a God whatsoever, of course.
They also say that we, human beings, not only look alike our creator, but have also inherited some of his utilities and function. It is hard to understand though, which one of our actions are inherited from creator and which are own indegneous vertues.
To figure it all out the Philosophers and Theologists offered three common ways of understanding Image of God, or "elohim" and "Imago Dei", as it is called sometimes.
First is Substantial, saying that we are simple mirror image of God, Second is Relational saying that we have to start dating God to be worth his image, and last one is Functional saying that God has simply set up a corporation to run the Earth and hired us as a workforce(why he wants us to look like him in that case they don't say, assuming that we 'll understand that it is usually whim of every boss).
Still it does not explain who is a closer resemblance of God: lets say George Bush or Bob Marley and what attitude is more Godish: drinking in the pub, going to war or preaching Allah each single hour.
So we, in Gallery Gabrichidze offered another way: Alain Gaymard, Clement Loisel, Nathalie Leverger, Nurcan Volkan have been offered a task to display of "Image of God" at their artworks and photographs and let the public to figure the ratio and denomonation altogether.
