This is what prominent Taiwanese artists, Professor Lee Son Don says about his work: "I had always believed that I was denied the opportunity to become a painter. It was not that I disliked painting. Rather, often times when I looked at the masterpieces in museums or through the published albums, marveling at the skillful techniques and ingenious brushwork that brought to life even the finest details of the subjects, I was humbled.

The Buddhist cultivation, however, has given me the courage to paint and led me further to the wonders of painting.
