There is a significant trend of modern civilization which is yet unnoticed by mainstream media: transformation of urban jungle into the urban desert.
Man are women are walking alone in the streets of big town, doing shopping, looking for job, looking for love (in vain most of the time) following daily routine; same as everyone else. There are thousand, millions of people around, new faces are flashing by every second... Yet each and every of them is lonesome and mate-less as someone in the middle of the desert. Our new photo exhibition which displays how photographers from different corners of the world dealing with the new phenomena.
The Urban Solitude is a closing part of our BreXpat project supported by King Baudouin foundation. As usual we will also have our traditional auction sale of artwork from previous exhibition, the Magical Mystery one…Participants: Satoru Toma ( Japan - Belgium ), Mariko Ogawa ( Japan - France), Leigh Dehaney ( Canada ), Jordan Tate ( USA )
